The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA), in association with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has announced changes to the American National Standard Minimum Requirements for Workplace First Aid Kits and Supplies. Of the 19 states with OSHA-approved plans, 17 either recommend or require the ANSI/ISEA standard for first aid kits. All other states follow federal OSHA regulations regarding first aid in the workplace.
